Annick is a firm believer in diversity, equity, accessibility and inclusion and what drives her is the possibility of contributing to the construction of a community where everyone can reach their full potential and not be disadvantaged from attaining it because of their gender, age, weight, race, ethnicity, religion, social class or other socially determined circumstances.

When it comes to people, Annick is convinced of the importance of a trauma informed approach and of being compassionate, empathetic, respectful, supportive and self-aware. She is also a strong supporter of the power of community as only through collaboration and strong relationships can the possibility of creating lasting change be envisioned.

Annick is currently a member of the PEI Women and Gender Diverse People’s Health Council, she is the Board Vice Chair of the Community Sector Network of PEI and also sits on the Advisory Circle of the Pan-Canadian Voice for Women’s Housing.

We acknowledge that Greater Restoration is located in Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq People. The Epekwitnewaq Mi’kmaq have occupied this Island for over 12,000 years. We honour the “Treaties of Peace and Friendship” which recognized Mi’kmaq rights and established an ongoing relationship between nations. We are all Treaty People.
